The Tea Party Movement Goes to Capitol Hill


September 12th 2009 Tea Party march in Washington. Will you be there? I'm going to make my plans now.

    Cool! I'm glad you found your way here. Did you reserve at Cherry Hill Campground? If you did use code TEA-OAJ there are quite a few of us staying there.

    Unfortunately, I will be at work, as usual. It is the bane of my existence that all the really kool zhit happens when I cant be there. My life is plagued with opposites...like every time I have to replace an in-tank fuel pump...the darned tank is full to the brim. The excellent car shows? You guessed it, all on Saturdays and I work on Saturdays. Gotta cut the yard? Yep...Sunday will be the only day it rains. Yet...fret not fellow amfibbians, I can always hook up with the gang here and at the 'vine whether rain or shine and for tiny ecstatic moment feel like I have connected with humanity. Ciao

    GS my Dad a 30 year Ford Diesel Mechanic, my uncle a 34 year service manager, my son a Chrysler Mechanic, and me the girl of the family walked the like at Chrysler Belveder, Ford Taurus on Torrence Ave, and the big plants of Detroit. Back in the day of short skirt suits and stiletto tuxedo flats... click click on the cement floor of the lines for the hoots and whistles and to the brewery for beers at 5pm.
    We sure will miss your unique way of expressing your opinions.

    Maybe I can call one of you and have it on speaker....then I will shout some offensive right wing epithets and in that way modern technology will have allowed me to join the fray. If I was more tech. savvy, I would figure out a way to have the screen flash my protest banner while I scream incoherently for the total experience. Hey....it was a thought!
