Schumer: Borders Are Now Safe Enough For Immigration Reform

"The American People Don't Care About Pork Projects In Stimulus" Schumer is at his brilliant (NOT) antics again. Hello NY do something with the brains your sending to DC please!

Calling All Politicians - Since when is Amensty the definition of Immigration Reform?
During the debate over immigration reform in Congress over the past few years, certain parties have consistently pointed to border security as a top priority, as the Associated Press points out. The continuing debate over what constituted adequate border security was a major reason why the immigration bill failed three times.
But according to Sen. Chuck Schumer (D-NY), the borders are now safe enough to take a step forward. "We can pass strong, fair, practical and effective immigration reform this year," he said following a hearing on border security Wednesday.

  1. "The government is obligated to qualify immigration to those most likely to contribute to the well-being of the civil society." Is that what Schumer has in mind? Hardly.

  2. "the borders are now safe enough to take a step forward". Now, why did that just send an evil chill up and down my spine? My first problem with that is the way it sounds. Sure, I bet the borders are much safer. Safer for the illegals to cross, that is, and I bet that's what he meant by "take a step forward". I hear a Dora the Explorer song coming on...

Come on vamanos, everybody let's go. Come on let's get to it,I know that we can do it! Where are we going? (clap clap clap) North of the border. Where are we going? (clap clap clap) North of the border. Where are we going? (clap clap clap) North of the border. Yayyyyyyyyyyyy!

  3. We voters don't CARE about pork barrels in bills? That sure is news to me. I think ANY politician daring to add pork to any bill needs to be disbarred from standing for re-election. Of course, that's just the opinion of a disgruntled voting citizen.

  4. My friend...that's the opinion of several million disgruntled voting citizens.

  6. To heck with Schumer, we all know where his interests lay, but YOU can catch illegal immigrants for free at the Texas border camera group of web cameras, anytime of the day or night, at www.blueservo.net Go catch a creeper and place a report online. It's live.

How many have you caught? I know you've been working hard at that.

Ok. I am trying to find someone to set tile for me. PCN has a back problem. I am trying to find a hard working American citizen who really needs the money. So, I'm looking on craigslist and there are a lot of Jose's and Manuels, etc... Should I ask if they're here legally? Well YES!

Schumer is on his way out. Right? How many American people will tolerate these politicians who want to practically open the gates? The people in Texas are fed up with hearing this amnesty crap. Our state would be seriously impacted and we don't intend to lose our economic position here. And, the borders are not safe enough to move anywhere near forward. He needs to come to Texas and pitch a tent on the border, live there a week, just him and his tent, and then tell us how safe it is.
