The End of an American Decade a Threat to American Values

An American decade ends in a bang of turmoil with so many moving parts of failure it is almost painful to recap. A testament to the question, what would happen if Liberals ruled the world; or at the very least the United States of America. We squandered a year. We saw a new leader travel the world singing the woes of our American faults and apologizing in an unprecedented manner. Extending a gratuitous hand to our friends and enemies, only proved how easily it could be slapped down. We lost an opportunity to celebrate freedom by standing with the people of Iran suffering through a corrupt election and tyrannical dictatorship, a near image of our own state of play.

We saw the vice of legislature clamping down control over the American people while the arm of the Government flexed its muscle. The big banks, nationalized car makers and unions operating freely with no regulation while Americans are controlled down to what light bulbs we are 'allowed' to use.

The U.S. is borrowing money faster than a broke lottery winner to pay for Social Justice programs that its citizens can neither afford due to joblessness, nor want. A new sound bite was even created to describe an oxymoronic situation, a Jobless Recovery. This makes about as much sense as a new social networking term 'unfriend'.

We saw community organizations - read ACORN freely ignore the law while patriots who peacefully assemble, a right guaranteed under the US Constitution, are called 'astroturf' and unamerican.

The United States of America has suffered recent attacks by the same group of foreign terrorists we suffered enormous loss at the hands of in 2001, while the administration pretends the attacks were mere isolated incidents to remain politically correct and places American Veterans on the extremist watch lists.

Does anyone remember what the term American Values means? I'm just askin'.
